Hospice Care

As veterinary care professionals we are able to offer euthanasia to our clients for their pets to end pain and suffering, although a terminal illness does not always mean that immediate euthanasia is necessary and hospice care for your cat at home may give extra days, weeks or even months with them while they stay comfortable and happy.

There are many things we can do to provide hospice care to elderly terminal ill patients and even younger patients with terminal illnesses. These include hydration and nutritional support, pain relief and environmental changes.

While we are here to support you and your decisions, we also recommend a colleague, Dr. Courtney Prue who is dedicated to end of life care and she can be reached at www.restyourpaws.com.au
